Narcos Cartel Simulator uses lo-fi text-based gameplay, paired with nostalgic 90’s calculator capable graphics, to deliver fans of the Netflix show an authentic timepiece Cartel experience on Facebook Messenger. Players who take up the challenge find themselves in the shoes of a street-level dealer deep in debt to the Cali Cartel. To pay back their debt, players need to travel the world, buying and selling product for profit, in the hopes that they can repay the Cartel and retire unscathed. I was tasked with creating the look and style of the game art and social media marketing assets. Using multiple endings paired with randomised market fluctuations and events, no two experiences will be the same and is able to be replayed over and over. The Narcos Cartel Simulator is still available to play via Facebook Messenger.
