The Weyland-Yutani Offworld Colony Simulator is an Alien universe role-playing game developed as an Alexa Skill (available on all Alexa-enabled devices). You can play solo or with a crew of up to three members as you explore an abandoned offworld colony whilst avoiding potential hazards lurking around every corner. Based on old dungeon crawler games and graphics capabilities of the late 70s/early 80s, you guide your player through the abandoned space colony using voice commands as Alexa describes your various surroundings. All the pixel art and animations were based upon the locations and aesthetic of the original Alien franchise films and the game was released on April 26th, 2018 to celebrate Alien Day. The game was also intended to be released on Facebook Messenger, a platform that would take advantage of the pixel art animations created, until the Facebook privacy controversy struck, puting a halt to that release.
